This website is something, I've been told, that I should have and wanted for a long time. Over the next few months and years I will share with you arizona information that I've learned and shared with many people. However, this site is also a place where you can ask questions, (try me, you can ask anything about Arizona), if I don't have the answer I know someone who does. I've lived here for over 40 years and grew up with friends that became a geologist, an archeologist and a curator at the Sonora Desert Museum. As a desert jeep tour guide the last few years I've taught desert survival, desert plant uses, finding and understanding desert animals in their habitat, (on a field trip with the U of A herp department I was called the lucky amateur), shared humor about Arizona history and Native American culture with teaching stories. I will talk about Arizona’s ancient cultures and how they still influence us today. The worst part of our influence is the continual destruction and theft at thousands of ancient sites. I hope you will decide to join me as guardians both in Arizona and wherever you live. Also this site will be a place of sharing, send me your Arizona photos whether you live here or were just traveling through, the best will be on display in the photo gallery. The photo gallery will have new pictures and the tour Arizona is a large and more diverse group of photos. Soon there will be photos for sale, stay tuned.The library will give you acess to all past articles so check there before you send in a question. When you decide to visit or want to learn more let me know .I know how long it takes to get most places, what to see, and who's best to take a tour with. Since different jeep tour companies offer different perspectives you can tailor your tour to your interests. The links page will send you to some great web sites and great tour companies. I'm working with one company that offers a 4 hour horse back ride where I'll talk about Indian culture, petroglyphs and survival plants, join me! I'm also trying to learn everyday, correct me if you think I'm wrong or just send me a story or an article now and then and we'll all have fun.
